Cowboys and Angels cover

Cowboys and Angels

Released

The Kitchens dealt with label objections in both the US and the UK for their fourth album; even a last minute drafting of Pascal Gabriel to help produce and remix some tracks didn’t save them from being dropped by the end of 1995 — all of which was the more strange simply because Cowboys and Angels was yet another striking, lovely Kitchens album. From the stirring opener “Sand on Fire” to the title track, from the reflective lead single “Now It’s Time To Say Goodbye” to the exultant “Come On Now,” the Kitchens’ apparent full-length swan song was just lovely.
