Magaletti is a percussionist with her own lane, which she widens here into a city block. A lot of this is freely improvised but there is also multi-tracking and additional noises that put this into its own place, one that is both on and off the grid, exploratory and situated and organized and electric. I can hear Oxley and Roach and Burundi and subway busker and tenured lunatic all at once. Fantastic.
