Vision Thing

Released

While Jim Steinman returned once more to do some production and collaborative honors on “More” — a song title that arguably sums up the Sisters’ perceived ethos more pithily than anything else — Andrew Eldritch went back to a rock band lineup on Vision Thing, including first wave UK punk survivor Tony James among the ranks. If not quite the triumphant masterwork that was Floodland, Vision Thing still has its strong moments, starting with the roaring grind of the title track immediately shifting into the rigorous impact of the harrowing “Ribbons.”
