Spectral Organ / Feedback Gong

What’s up with all the church organs? You could also ask “What’s up with all the drones?” and both questions apply to Antti Tolvi. Somehow, Tolvi was able to record the first 21-minute track in a Finnish church, with no overdubs. I don’t know how you make an organ split into such gorgeous little microtonal buds but Tolvi does. The second piece is all manipulated feedback, and makes for an album good enough to draw the Radigue comparison.
