An MC from Norfolk who likes it heavy and rich, Leikeli47 lands a bit like MC Lyte and Cardi B with a DJ Quik flow. This moves in the super crisp and big universe of Pharrell beats, it’s like N.E.R.D.’s “Lemon” video became a whole album. As halogen bright as Pusha T or early Jay-Z, there is no goofing here. “Ooh boy who you looking at like that?” tumbling out in the “Lapdance” flow. Massive bass (some very happily distorted 808s), Leikeli47 right in the middle, little cash registers popping off on the top. Nice dose of sing-song playground taunts.
