Nocturne cover
Released

The one formal live album the Banshees released during their original run amid a flood of bootlegs, Nocturne wasn’t necessarily the band’s favorite evening to have captured. Siouxsie has a snarky comment or two along the way and Robert Smith, while an excellent guitarist, was standing in for the work of John McGeoch in many places. But it’s still a solid document of the band at a good point in their history, and strong performances of songs like “Cascade,” “Eve White/Eve Black” and “Switch” help carry it through.
