The detailed, intense house, techno, dub, trip hop and electronica of Leftism sounds incredibly tough; diamond-hard beats, metallic synth lines, iron-clad bass, immovable rhythms, unstoppable grooves, its forward momentum generated by sheer audio weight. And it has a genuinely cohesive musical character, the chords, melodies, arrangement, production and engineering, the overall sound is just very Leftfield.
