In These Times

Released

McCraven connected with his extended family, who stretch from Chicago to LA and back, and recorded a host of germs for tracks, live and in the studio. These nuggets became the basis for compositions fleshed out by over a dozen players. The artistic bloodline moves from Roy Ayers down into Groove Collective and into the Low End Theory orbit and back out into a cinematic thing McCraven is making his own. Real rough and polished beauties all at once.
