The music is coming apart like a dandelion fluff now, as the software increases in power and the boys combine their minds more fully. Beats keep trying to make it through the barbed wire and the boys keep cutting them off, and sometimes they just let the rhythms lurch forward and shred themselves along the blades of the software. This is dark, powerful stuff, and relatively short as Autechre albums go.
